Motivated by our desire to share the infectious nature of hope, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed, bringing relief, restoration and renewal to those devastated by natural disasters, poverty, and economic depression in the U.S. and abroad.

Primary: To bring relevant, life-giving, hope-inspiring aid as second responders to women, children and families devastated by natural disaster or systemic poverty.

Secondary: to develop on-going, sustainable solutions that inspire hope, self-sufficiency and economic empowerment in the lives of those we seek to serve.

We are a grass-roots organization providing opportunities for people of all stations of life to get involved, share hope, and inspire generosity and kindness. We are drawn to opportunities for rebuilding projects where resources are limited.

  • Vision Goal #1: To identify a workable, sustainable solution for the post-earthquake rebuilding that is needed and ongoing in Nepal as well as other poverty-stricken areas of the world where resources are limited.
  • Vision Goal #2: To create jobs for women who have no other means and provide education for orphans or single women with children in creating a brain trust for the future.

We value person-to-person connectedness; we value positive, respectful giving. We value the sanctity of life, and protection of the vulnerable. We value education and development of programs that empower those we serve to grow, stabilize and become contributing members of their community. We value local people, culture, resources, and materials whenever possible. We value collaboration, fiscal responsibility, and purposeful positivity.

SociaIcon for Social Businessl enterprise is at the heart of our organization as Give Back Hope was founded by serialpreneur, Stan Barrett on the principles of corporate philanthropy. Why is this important? Simple. This is our internal culture and the lifeblood of our operations. As a collective, we believe businesses should not only focus on normal business metrics such as revenue and profit, but also on the “return to society” as a measure of success.

If you are looking to start a social entrepreneurship program within your organization, we welcome you to join us. If you are unsure where to begin, don’t worry. At Give Back Hope, we understand – completely.

As a non-profit, we are unique in that we are staffed by a team of highly successful entrepreneurs. Our executive team has well over 100 years of combined experience in building successful companies, mentoring start-ups, marketing and strategic planning consulting, multi-media design, and results-oriented business development. We have extensive experience in creating meaningful events, developing engaging programs, and garnering significant support. We are here to help. Feel free to Contact Us for more information.

social businessGive Back hope is a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to helping others and sharing hope on a global scale. We treasure and value the diversity of all people, nations, creeds and colors. Many of us are people of deep faith; but we don’t require anyone to share our views in order to be helped. We do require everyone who is a part of our team to value the same commitment to diversity. Ego and dogma have no place in our organization; instead we focus on seeing with eyes of compassion and doing our very best to alleviate pain & suffering while also sharing love and hope -no strings attached.

KindnessHere in the Give Back Hope office, we are crazy-devoted to sharing hope, smiles, love, kindness, and anything else that will bring a smile to someone who is suffering and in need of a helping hand, a hug, a meal, a little rest, or just to know that they are not alone. The world we live in is all too cruel, hard, and real.  People today seem to have such a hard time seeing the light in an otherwise dark world. We want to help change that – anywhere and everywhere that we can. Sound lovely? Come volunteer with us! We always have room to grow..

I served and I saw that service is joy.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

It is the vision of Give Back Hope to provide opportunities for ordinary individuals (such as you and me) the ability to reach out and help other ordinary individuals in extraordinary moments of need.

Give Back Hope is a 501(c)3 international humanitarian aid organization, dedicated to bringing necessary aid and sharing hope wherever we go. We know what it’s like to look over our cubicles and into the eyes of the needy, and so we choose to get involved. We may not be able to change the whole world; but we can make a world of difference in the lives of those we help. That is what Give Back Hope is all about.

Imagine you’re walking down a city sidewalk, and you pass by a large, barren plot of land taking up the whole block. Nothing grows there – it is a wasteland amidst the buildings all around. Now imagine that you notice someone has posted a sign in front of the lot that says, “Free garden patches – Plant what you like.” Intrigued, you make a point to keep an eye on this block – just to see what might happen.

As word spreads, you watch the empty lot transform into a lush garden; a place where children play, people sit and have lunch, birds chirp, squirrels hide their treasures, and the air is sweet with the fragrance of flowers. It’s no longer barren; it’s a vibrant gathering place that sprang up because one person took action and posted a sign inviting others to see their vision. Then it catches your eye – a small little square of as-yet unclaimed dirt; you grab it, immediately thinking of the contribution you’re going to add to the beautiful garden….

And so it is with Give Back Hope. We seek to affect a shift in the social commentary of this generation…away from mass preoccupation with negativity and toward hope-inspiring generosity. What about you? What fuels your passion in life? If sharing hope and making a difference in the lives of others is one of your core motivators, we invite you to join us by “grabbing a plot, and planting some hope.”

“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”
~ Edward Everett Hale

We want to care for those in need, but more than that, we want to touch individual lives with love and hope. When we focus on individuals and their plight, we cannot easily ignore the fact that they need a miracle. Nor can we ignore the very real truth that we may be the only chance of a miracle that they will ever have.
